Great information sources about merit badges, their requirements and resources are Scouting.org and MeritBadgeDotOrg. Always refer to a Merit Badge handbook either borrowed from the Troop 10 library, borrowed from the public library or purchased from Council to help learn the material and be the definitive list of requirements.

Merit Badge Counselors

Troop 10 is fortunate to have local Merit Badge counselors for most of the Eagle required badges. Consult the troop directory for contact information.

The list of NWSC Merit Badge counselors is maintained on the Troop 10 Yahoo! web site (Troop web site login required): Signal Hill Merit Badge Counselor list of July 2016.

Parents are encouraged to share their knowledge by becoming a merit badge counselor. Information on becoming a counselor and the application is available here.

Merit Badge Worksheets

For those merit badges offered at Camp Napowan, refer here for worksheets to help you organize your work and satisfy the requirements.
